Jaap van Zweden, Music Director | Jaap van Zweden has become an international presence on three continents over the past decade. The 2018–19 season marked his first as the 26th Music Director of the New York Philharmonic. Born in Amsterdam, Jaap van Zweden was appointed at age 19 as the youngest-ever concertmaster of Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He began his conducting career almost 20 years later, in 1996. He was named Musical America’s 2012 Conductor of the Year and was the subject of an October 2018 CBS 60 Minutes profile on the occasion of his arrival at the New York Philharmonic. Recently, he was awarded the prestigious 2020 Concertgebouw Prize. He has appeared as guest conductor with many other leading orchestras around the globe, among them the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Orchestre national de France and London Symphony Orchestra.


Stefan Jackiw, violin | Stefan Jackiw is one of America’s foremost violinists, captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique. Jackiw has appeared as soloist with the Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco symphony orchestras, among others. Born to physicist parents of Korean and German descent, Stefan Jackiw began playing the violin at the age of four. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University, as well as an Artist Diploma from the New England Conservatory, and is the recipient of a prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant. Jackiw plays a violin made by Vincenzo Ruggieri in Cremona in 1704.


Anne-Marie McDermott, piano | Anne-Marie McDermott  has been Artistic Director of the Bravo! Vail Music Festival since 2011. She enjoys performing, recording, commissioning, and planning a tremendous variety of music encompassing many centuries and styles. Anne-Marie has been devoted to chamber music her entire career and performs regularly with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, where she has been a member since 1995. She is the Artistic Director of two chamber music festivals: one at the McKnight Performing Arts Center in Oklahoma; the other in Ocean Reef, Florida.

 
Jeff Tyzik, conductor | GRAMMY Award winner Jeff Tyzik is one of America's most innovative and sought after pops conductors. Tyzik is recognized for his brilliant arrangements, original programming and engaging rapport with audiences of all ages. This is the tenth season that Tyzik has held The Dot and Paul Mason Principal Pops Conductor's Podium at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He also serves as Principal Pops Conductor of both the Detroit Symphony and the Oregon Symphony. Frequently invited as a guest conductor, Tyzik has appeared with over fifty orchestras including the Boston Pops, Cincinnati Pops, Milwaukee Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Toronto Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, and more.
