Lavish Passion
The McKnight Center's annual Chamber Music residency is known for wowing audiences with the magnetic charisma of its guest artists and the inspiring repertory of its musical lineup.
"Lavish Passions" features works hand selected by Anne-Marie McDermott and celebrates the passionate melodies of the Roma and eastern European cultures, featuring the magnificent Dohnányi Sextet and more! Additional programming to be announced closer to the concert.
The Chamber Music artists will provide multiple masterclasses for OSU music students as part of their residency. Masterclasses are open to the public for observation and are free to attend; check back in February for an updated schedule of events.

Enhance your concert experience with free pre-concert conversations!Dr. Thomas Lanners hosts half-hour conversations with our distinguished guest artists before each concert in our Classical Series. These casual discussions provide insight about the evening’s program, including the music that will be performed, the soloists, and the ensembles. Preludes is the perfect way to deepen your musical understanding and enhance your enjoyment of the concert.
Preludes is held in the Recital Hall beginning one hour prior to show time. No ticket needed - Preludes is free for all to attend.
