New York Philharmonic
Bright Night Gala Concert
The inimitable New York Philharmonic returns to Stillwater to thrill audiences with three distinct concert experiences featuring guest artists and music that you won’t want to miss. This will be Music Director Jaap van Zweden’s final season with the orchestra, making this the last time to experience his artistry on the conducting podium in Stillwater.

The Bright Night Gala Concert features some of the most well-known works by American composers. Guest violinist Stefan Jackiw has been described as “brilliantly skillful and selflessly musical” (The Financial Times). He'll perform one of the most popular works from the 20th century, Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto. Then, the orchestra will perform Aaron Copland’s Symphony No. 3, which borrows musical themes from his beloved Fanfare for the Common Man.

Be sure to arrive early to enjoy a complimentary reception in the lobby to celebrate this special event.
